The Port Hope Farmers' Market   The Farmers' Market is open 8am - noon (except for special event days), behind Town Hall every Saturday from May to October. Local growers provide fresh produce, home baked goods and arts and crafts. Throughout the season, various festivals and celebrations take place at the market; the most notable are: Mother's Day May 8th Father's Day June 19th Port Hope Arts Festival August 14th  Heritage Festival August 28th Senior's Day September 11th Hundred Mile Diet & Harvest Day October 9th Last Day of Market being October 30th Also, the Port Hope  Farmers' Market holds a Wednesday Market in the Home Hardware Parking Lot,  Toronto Road,  2pm - 6pm.
